In order to introduce the lesson topic, students will talk about different kinds of predictions and watch a video about weather predictions.

Students will consider some reasons for conflict and will commit to doing what leads to peace.

Students will discuss who they receive guidance from and will discover ways to seek God’s guidance in their lives.

Students will consider the human tendency to waver in keeping promises and will discover that God is the ultimate Promise Keeper.

In order to introduce the lesson topic, students will watch a video about a 4-year-old hero and discuss who they turn to for help in challenging situations.

Students will consider the need for a sense of direction when we are lost and will discover that God will lead them.

As students watch drone footage on recent devastation from Hurricane Beryl, they will be introduced to God’s promise to save Noah and discover God’s plan for saving us, too.

Students will watch a short video about trying to get someone to follow as they discuss doing the right thing even when it’s unpopular.

Students will consider their responses to correction and discover that the right attitude comes with God’s help.

Students will identify with the sin-and-blame game and acknowledge our need for God’s correction.
