In order to introduce the lesson topic, students will hear one expert’s tips on forgiveness and talk about when they find it easy and difficult to forgive.

Students will discuss the importance of people who serve others and watch a video about a couple who found ways to bless others.

Students will use what Jesus taught about respecting authority and relate it to their own lives as they watch a video about respecting those who have authority.

Students will consider the effort put into strengthening the body and will realize similar effort needs to be invested in exercising their faith.

Students will discuss change and will identify ways that Jesus changes lives.

Students will think about how we welcome those who were lost and will celebrate the way God welcomes us with open arms even when we let Him down.

Students will discuss one city’s up-close encounter with a powerful windstorm as they consider being awed by God’s power and glory.

Students will discuss the need for courage as they explore the importance of telling the truth.

Students will consider the value of material items and the value of intangible gifts to determine that they can be content with what they have.

Students will talk about things that cause parents to worry in preparation for the Bible lesson about God’s directive to honor and obey parents.

Students will distinguish between following rules on the Sabbath and enjoying a relationship that desires a Sabbath time with God.

Students will watch a video about celebrating too early and discuss the sacrifice required in putting God first in their lives.
