Students will be reminded that unwise choices in friendships can influence them in negative ways.

Students will talk about giving thanks to God as they explore all the things God has done for us that are worthy of thanks.

Students will examine the ways that Solomon honored God through his service and will explore opportunities to serve others in their daily lives.

Students will learn the value of wisdom and how to receive God’s wisdom.

Students will weigh the reasons for and consequences of being sneaky and will see that deceit is never God’s way to success.

In order to introduce the lesson topic, students will talk about their attitudes in good and bad situations and watch a video about thankfulness.

Students will talk about sharing and will be challenged to share even when it is not easy.

Students will discuss how they react when people do selfish things as they explore God’s desire for His children to respond with good when treated badly.
