In order to introduce the lesson topic, students will watch a video about a 4-year-old hero and discuss who they turn to for help in challenging situations.

Students will consider the need for a sense of direction when we are lost and will discover that God will lead them.

As students watch drone footage on recent devastation from Hurricane Beryl, they will be introduced to God’s promise to save Noah and discover God’s plan for saving us, too.

Students will watch a short video about trying to get someone to follow as they discuss doing the right thing even when it’s unpopular.

Students will consider their responses to correction and discover that the right attitude comes with God’s help.

Students will identify with the sin-and-blame game and acknowledge our need for God’s correction.

Students will discuss something created out of love to help them understand God’s creation and how He created it.

Students become imaginary “zookeepers-for-a-day” to help them explore what it takes to care for animals as they consider how God created with purpose.

In order to introduce the lesson topic, students will talk about what it takes to be prepared for every eventuality and how wisdom is an absolute necessity.

Students will consider the idea of creating something from nothing through an artistic activity.
